Title: The Power of Music as a Universal Language
Greetings to all my esteemed readers,
I am honored to share my recent experience meeting with Kazuhiro Nakai, the Consul General of Japan at the Miami Symphony through the photo placed above.
Prior to Miami, Nakai was posted in Geneva as Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Japanese Delegation to the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva from July 2018 to August 2021. There, he represented Japan in various disarmament meetings and also served as Chairperson of the Meeting of Experts of the Biological and Toxic Weapons Convention (2019-2021).
Under the leadership of Eduardo Marturet, MISO has become a international sensation that draws in International attendance, is able to give back so much to the community, and is a blessing to many.
In conclusion, music is an expression of our shared humanity that connects us all. It is a tool that can be used to bridge cultural divides and create a sense of unity.
