Updated: Mar 7

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Broward High School Teacher Bob Sutton Partners with Make America Clean Again for Major Cleanup Initiatives in Broward County, Florida.

Pompano Beach, FL – Bob Sutton, a dedicated Broward High School teacher and the newly elected Supervisor of the Broward Soil and Water Conservation District, has proudly collaborated with the Make America Clean Again organization to spearhead significant environmental cleanup efforts in Broward County.

The focus of the initiative was on two critical areas: the security fence at Piper High School and a canal along I-95 and Atlantic Blvd in Pompano. Recognizing the need for immediate action, Bob Sutton reached out to John Rourke, the leader of Make America Clean Again. John, eager to assist, visited Broward County to assess the sites and quickly devised a comprehensive cleanup strategy.

Thanks to the prompt mobilization and the hard work of the volunteers, including U.S. Veteran Steve Genchi and LandScape Solutions owner Danny Barnett, the projects saw tremendous success. The team removed approximately 2,000 pounds of trash from the canal and cleared over 26,000 pounds of debris from around the security fence at Piper High School.

Bob Sutton expressed his gratitude, stating, "I am incredibly thankful for the swift response and the hard work of John Rourke and his team. This cleanup not only enhances the beauty of our community but also promotes environmental responsibility and stewardship."

John Rouke of Make America Clean Again added, "We were thrilled to support Broward County in these crucial efforts. Working alongside committed individuals like Bob Sutton and seeing the immediate positive impact of our work is truly rewarding."

This initiative is part of an ongoing commitment by Bob Sutton to promote environmental awareness and community involvement in conservation efforts throughout Broward County.
