Yes, I am a high school teacher. I grew up in western Pennsylvania, in a small town called Lower Burrell. People often ask me why I align myself with and support President Trump. The reasons are personal and rooted in my experiences and principles.
First, it could be my background in mathematical teaching and logical thinking. I tend to view the world through a lens of problem-solving, focusing on practical solutions. In many ways, I see the policies President Trump has supported as straightforward approaches to real-world problems, grounded in logic and aimed at results that benefit the hard working, law abiding, tax paying, U.S. citizens. Solutions where no one is dying on the battlefield, benefiting the military complex, or realizing profit from death.
Second, it might stem from my financial literacy teaching. I’ve dedicated my career to helping students understand the importance of managing finances, creating economic opportunities, and promoting entrepreneurship. President Trump’s emphasis on economic growth, tax reform, and job creation resonates with the values I teach every day. Every dollar removed from the private sector is one less job, one less business opportunity, or one less business created to pass down wealth from one generation to the next.
Third, it could be the times I’ve met him. In those interactions, he demonstrated genuine concern for the well-being of everyday people and the country. His insights and deep involvement in the hospitality industry left a lasting impression on me, showing me a side of him that many people don’t see—his personal investment in the American worker, the economy, and his guests.
Fourth, I see him as an underdog. Like me, I believe he was politically outmaneuvered by some very bad actors with hidden agendas and a past that they do not want exposed, yet he continues to fight for us and what he believes in. That resilience, that determination to keep going in the face of opposition, is something I deeply respect.
Fifth, I admire him as a cheerleader for the American people. He consistently promotes and advocates for the rights and freedoms of U.S. citizens. His love for the country and its people, paired with his commitment to making America stronger, aligns with the patriotic values I hold dear.
Sixth, for over 40 years I have worked to help businesses keep their doors open and their employees paid. Trump wants the hard working people to keep more of their money. When the government takes a dollar out of the private sector it takes more than the dollar. It takes away capital that could be used to start a savings, an investment account, or a business.
Finally, This is a country of we the people. A constitutional Republic. Not a Centralized government who has power over the individual. We give the government power. Not the other way around. Only a decentralized government will provide for individual freedom and individual choice.
These are some of the reasons why I support President Trump— as an educator, a Western PA native, and as someone who believes in the potential of every American to succeed.

Trump is like a wealthy uncle. You know he is fun and that he will have your back. Trump Wants you and America to succeed. With Trump as your uncle and your President; the bully down the street, he will not be bothering you any more.
