Established in 1946 by Navija Achkar-Valladares, our family’s journey in the jewelry industry began in Cuba, where we specialized in crafting and selling exquisite pieces. However, when communism took hold and the Castro regime seized our business, we were forced to start anew.
In 1960, our family arrived in Youngstown, Ohio, where we rebuilt our passion and re-established our jewelry and manufacturing store. For 47 years, we proudly served our community, creating heirloom-quality jewelry and providing expert services.
Continuing the tradition, Casa Leon Jewelers expanded in 2020, opening our third location at Griffin Farm Center in Lake Mary, Florida. Led by owners Ivette & Rene Barrios, we remain committed to excellence, offering the finest quality jewelry and craftsmanship.
