Our Almighty Creator, on this blessed Sunday morning, we gather before You with grateful hearts. As we approach the sacred anniversary of our nation's birth, we remember our founding fathers who, with Your divine guidance, forged this nation with a vision for liberty, justice, and the pursuit of happiness.
We thank You, Lord, for Your Providence that guided us through the trials and tribulations of our early days. It was Your light that led us through the darkest nights of tyranny, instilling in us the courage to conceive a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people.
On this Independence Day eve, we recall the courage of our forefathers, who pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, not for personal gain, but for a future they would never see. With their sacrifices in our hearts, we humbly seek Your grace to continue in their brave legacy.
In our pursuit of liberty, may we forever be mindful of the responsibilities freedom endows, to ensure the rights of others as fervently as we seek our own. In our disagreements, let us remember that we are one nation under God, indivisible, and let our discourse be filled with respect and understanding.
We ask Your blessing upon our nation, oh Lord. Bless and protect the men and women who serve to defend our liberty, both at home and afar. Bless our leaders with wisdom and humility, that they may guide our country in ways that honor You and reflect the principles upon which our nation was built.
As we celebrate this Fourth of July, we remember the extraordinary faith in the human spirit and in You, our Divine Creator, which impelled our founding fathers to secure the blessings of liberty. In their honor, and for the sake of all generations to come, we pray that our great nation remains a beacon of freedom and hope to the world.
May Your grace continue to shine on our beloved country, preserving the American dream alive, and the spirit of independence thriving. We ask all this in Your Holy name, the One who bestows freedom and ignites the fire of hope in every heart.
