Four-Year Reprieve: The Urgency of Working Towards the Future of the United States
Hello, fellow Americans,
This is Chairman Bob Sutton, and I'd like to share an important reflection with you all today. Many of you who have attended my events might recall a story I shared about the night of the 2016 election.
As the election results rolled in, we found ourselves gathered in a packed room in Broward County. The atmosphere was electric as the news broke – Donald Trump had won the presidency. While there was undeniable excitement in the air, a few people noticed my relatively calm demeanor and asked why I wasn't as ecstatic as everyone else.
In that moment, I shared my thoughts: "We may have won the election, but what we really won was a four-year reprieve. If we don't work our asses off for the next four years and win again, if we lose the next election in four years, we will not recognize the United States in six months."
Those words still ring true today. Our victories, no matter how significant, should never be taken for granted. We must use our time wisely and work relentlessly to ensure that the values and principles that make America great are upheld for future generations. It is our duty to make sure that our children and grandchildren can continue to enjoy the blessings of the United States.
With that said, I urge all of you to remain vigilant, engaged, and committed to the cause. The future of our nation depends on our collective efforts, and together, we can safeguard the legacy of America for generations to come.
Stay strong, and May God bless each and everyone of you.
